<dc:title>Letter from Charles Singer, Westbury Lodge, Norham Road, Oxford, to the Master [Sir Joseph John Thomson], Trinity College, Cambridge</dc:title>
<dc:description>Thanking Thomson for his letter of 23 May with the offer of putting Singer's account of the Catalogue of Scientific Manuscripts to Council of the Royal Society. In reply to the suggestion of making definite his application for a grant, he suggests £200 for the next year. He calls Thomson's attention to the need for a catalogue of Royal Society manuscripts, stating that the old catalogue is inadequate.
