Copy letter from Sir Archibald Geikie, Secretary of the Royal Society, to Professor [John Bretland] Farmer, FRS Finds that [Francis] Darwin has not returned from Switzerland, and so has tried to look into the matter of [Charles] Walker's illustrations himself. Points out that Walker sent no reply when the Royal Society asked for the name of the engraver, and that his letters have 'made some rather unworthy insinuations' 5 May 1906
