Copy letter from Robert Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society, to Sir James Dewar Forwards a copy of the Resolution passed at Council at the meeting on 5 July. Resolution is appended, and states that the Council received Sir James Dewar's letter, in which he brought attention to the fact that a serious charge made by him at the Special General Meeting is based on a misapprehension - however, the Council consider that no authority is required for their action, and regret that Dewar has not withdrawn the charge. 6 July 1917
