<dc:title>Letter from an unknown correspondent, to the Secretary of His Majesty's Treasury</dc:title>
<dc:description>Informs the Secretary that Professor Arthur Schuster, who has hitherto acted as the British delegate at the conferences of the International Seismological Association, is unable to attend their forthcoming meeting at St Petersburg on 31 August 1914. The Royal Society recommends that Mr [George Walker] Walker should be appointed as the British delegate instead. Hopes that the Treasury consents to this.</dc:description>
