Explains that Mr [John] Roscoe the anthropologist has been in charge of the [Mackie] expedition to Uganda, and is preparing an account of the expedition for publication. Explains that the Royal Society has decided to supply him with a secretary to help in the publication. Notes that Roscoe is a very interesting and delightful man, and that the customs he investigates are fascinating. Informs her that Roscoe rode through Uganda and by the Nile on a 20 year old bicycle.</dc:description>
