Copy letter from the Secretary of the Royal Society, to the Secretary of the Air Ministry Informs the Air Ministry that the Royal Society have fully considered the recommendations of the Sub-Committee of the Meteorological Committee. Thinks that a balance should be maintained between the administrative and scientific sides of the proposed new Meteorological Committee. Proposes that the recommendations should be amended to make sure that the Vice-chairman is a scientific man allotted from among the three representatives of the Royal Society and the Royal Society of Edinburgh. 18 June 1920
