Letter from Sir John Dewrance; Alloys of Iron Research Committee, care of The Royal Society, Burlington House, London; to the Secretary of the Royal Society Has the pleasure of enclosing a report of the work done so far on the research [into alloys of iron], and a copy of a lecture given in Sheffield by their Director of Research. Explains that unfortunately the Committee have not been able to raise enough money to finance the research and it might have to be suspended. Notes he would be grateful if the Royal Society could help to avoid this. 11 March 1924
