The minutes of Council of the Royal Society approving of the Centenary proposals submitted were read. D. N. Dunlop was elected Secretary. Other institutions and Vice-Chancellors were to be invited to join the committee. Other matters discussed included: arrangements for a Kelvin Exhibit at the British Empire Exhibition. Date of the Centenary celebrations. Presentation of the Kelvin Medal.  </dc:description>
