Letter from Frederick William Edridge Green, Consultative Branch, Mecantile Marine Department, Board of Trade, 68 Victoria Street, London, to [William Bate] Hardy He has received copies of correspondence between the Board of Trade and the Royal Society in 1890. All of the letters but one were written by [George Gabriel] Stokes from his home of the British Museum and therefore the Royal Society may not have copies of them. This would explain a good deal and he would be happy to show the correspondence to Hardy and Sherrington. 20 May 1922
