<dc:title>Letter from George Howard Darwin, Newnham College, Cambridge, to Joseph Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>Enclosing a draft with various letters and papers. Darwin wrote to Balfour on this subject one-and-a-half year ago and his letters went to the Treasury, arguing strongly in favour of re-triangulation of Great Britain. He relied on Hills, but was staggered to read Helmot's letter, as was Close; but upon reflection, Darwin thinks he has hit on what Helmot meant. He hopes that Larmor will let him know what finally goes to the Treasury.</dc:description>
