Copy letter from William Bate Hardy, Secretary of the Royal Society, to Dr. John Charles Philip Asking for help with a query from the War Office on the employement status of King, Mason and Schryver during their development of b-Eucaine. He has looked through the file of the Chemistry (War) Committee, but can find no clear indications of whether they were employed and therefore he appeals to Philip's knowledge. 19 May 1921
