In April 1916 and afterwards, the Chemistry (War) Committee communicated to a number of manufacturing firms the information it had acquired on the b-Eucaine process. Letters of the Committee and of Dr. Philip mention Burroughs Wellcome & Company and the Cooper Laboratory.
