<dc:title>Copy letter from [William Bate Hardy], the Secretary, Royal Society, to Frederick Soddy</dc:title>
<dc:description>Soddy's letter on the b-Eucaine claims of King and Mason has been considered by Council. The report recommending to the War Office, that a small award be made to the claimants, went outside the terms of reference from the War Office. After full discussion, and because Council was only asked for general observations, it was agreed that no further action should be taken. </dc:description>
