In his opinion, the Chelsea Physic Garden deed is good as a whole, with conditions binding on the Apothecaries' Company. The interests of the Royal Society do not arise until there has been a failure by the Apothecaries in the performance of the conditions, but it is not clear whether Sir Hans Sloane's representatives would then be bound to enter as Trustees for the Royal Society.
