He notes that the Royal Society is invited to appoint a standing committee on the subject and to nominate a representative to the proposed international committee. Professsor Hale has informed him that the International Association of Academies should be approached and the National Academy of Sciences has undertaken to do this. They have offered facilities for printing, at least provisionally.  </dc:description>
