Paper, 'A farther triall of the said stones by chymicall distillation' by [Frederick Slare] Slare recounts experiments performed on bladder stones sent from Bern [Switzerland]. Slare distilled a powder made from the stones and tested whether it was magnetic before and after being burned. He found that it was not.
