  <dc:description>Paper relating the story of a man in Bridgewater [Bridgwater, Somserset] who had periodic fits of abdominal pain and severe constipation. Remedies, including swallowing musket bullets and consuming a powder, were not successful. The man developed a hole in his abdomen, and some time after voided the bullets from his body. The bullets were subsequently sent to the Royal Society.
