Paper, 'Account of Ld [Lord] Carpenter's gun-shot wound in the mouth' by George Lord Carpenter Lord Carpenter was wounded in battle at the breach of Brihuega [Guadalajara, Spain] when he was shot in the face with a musket. The bullet became lodged in his gullet for nearly a year before being extracted.
