Paper, 'The Sun’s eclipse on 18 February 1737, observed in Fleet Street, London' by George Graham Graham writes that at 2.25pm 'A small impression appeared on the Sun's limb. I judge the beginning to have been about five or six seconds sooner.' He goes on to share further observations over a period of several hours.
