Minutes of the last meeting read

 ' Mr Dollond reported the furnace to be repaired and in a fit state for work. 

Mr Pellatt reportedf on the state f teh lined crucible, when it appeared they had suffered so great a deterioration as to render them unsafe for experiment; in consequence of which no experimenet on a large scale could be determined on.

Mr Dollond presented 5 discs flateneed from large lumps from 3 to 8 inches in diameter. All proved striated, and offered other irregularities. They were marked A, B, C, D, E and ordered to be preserved among the specimens. 

The attention of the Members during the recess was pareticularlyl dircted to the improvement of the Pots. '</dc:description>
