Present at the meeting: Sir Humphry Davy Bart. President in the chair;  Mr Brande;  Mr Dollond;  Mr Faraday;  Mr Herschel

The first experiment began by intorducing three different mixtures recommended by the Sub-Committee into three heated pots. 

 ' Directions were given for taking out Optical and Chemical Specimens at proper times appointed. 

The further conduct of the Experiment was left to the superintendence of the Sub-Committee. '</dc:description>
