Minutes of the last meeting were read

 ' Read a letter form Mr Lloyd dated 19 March 1830 respecting his progress in establishing Zero points at that extremity of his operations: enclosing a statement of his expences hitherto, and applying for fresh funds.

Resolved, that Mr Lloyd be recommended to add a fourth station to the three already selected at Zero points in the Dock Yard at Sheerness: and that this point be at a considerable distance from the other three, and on soil of different character.

That he be requested to send to the Committee a sketch of his proposed tide Guage, and a memorandum of the spot which he would recommend as most eligible for the establishment of a tide Guage at Sheerness - And that the President be requested to send him the second moiety of the £100 placed by the Admiralty at the disposal fo the President for these opeations.
