      The minutes [NGL/36 (83)] of the meeting on 26 May 1983 were confirmed.

      Noting that the protocol listed twelve points for discussion by the joint Working Party (these being essentially the same items for discussion adopted by the joint Hispano-French and Hispano-German working parties, the Working Group proceeded to examine the issues covered by each item:
       1.   Information exchange on future plans
       2.   Elaboration of joint programme
       3.   Formulation of teams f9or regional and thematic studies: As 2 above:

       6.   Selection of research areas
       7.   Training of specialists

      Agreed that the ad hoc Working Group be kept in being until after the initial meeting of the Joint Working Party whose report should be discussed at a meeting in May 1984 and the desirability of terminating the Working Group be then assessed. </dc:description>
