Matters discussed;
1.     Terms of reference as approved by Council on 9 May 1963 'To consider what action the Royal Societey might take, on both a short and long term basis, to heighten the esteem of the technologist as a scientific contributor to the national welfare.'

2.     Membership as approved by Council noted

3.     Discussion of action to be taken led by Lord Fleck, and nine points made.

4.     Future action by the Committee - agreed that;
4i.   Various members of the Committee would prepare papers setting out their views for circulation to the Committee
4ii.   Information for circulation to the Committee should be obtained fromt the Engineers Guild, the Institute of Physics and the Institute of Chemistry, concerning remuneration in their professions
4iii.  Another meeting of the Committee would be called when the above information became available for circulation</dc:description>
