Resolved ' To recommend that Dr W N Shaw be appointed a delegate of the Royal Society in the place of Sir W T Thiselton-Dyer. 4. After discussion of the possibility of admitting the Royal Society of Edinburgh and the Royal Irish Academy as constituent Academies of the Association, it was agreed ' that the Society's delegates at the forthcoming General Assembly should ascertain the feeling of other Academies on the subject of admitting furether constituent Academies from the British Empire.
