22.     Confirmed minutes of meeting of 3 March 1948

23.     Correspondence - agreed a request from UNESCO for a meeting between the UNESCO delegates, overseas representatives attending the conference, the Joint Chairmen of the conference and the four Editors  to be held at 10.30 am on 5 July 1948

24.     Chairman's Remarks - thanks and appreciation to all involved

25.     List of Representatives to Conference - Paper SIC/63 (48)  and Paper SIC/63A (48) received giving list of representatives as at 4 May 1948. Dr Martin updated the report, details listed in minutes

26.     Draft Programme as listed in SIC/62 (48) considered and adopted as amended in appendix A

27.     Secretarial Arrangements - accepted as presented in SIC/61 (48)

28.     Reports of Steering Committees presented, memorandum submitted by various societies discussed, and discussed a method of establishing a tentative agenda for each Working Party

29.     Section III and Section IV Reports presented and discussed - details in minutes

30.     Exhibition and Visits - papers SIC/49 (48) and SIC/55 (48) presented by Dr Martin and reported on progress made by the display firm

31.     Conference Papers - Paper SIC/64 (48) presented by Dr Martin who confirmed four additional papers in hand, and another eight also.  Agreed 'that a) the closing day for the receipt of papers to be printed should be 20 May 1948; and b0 Dr King with the assistance of Dr Francis, be asked to prepare a short note on the proposals of the Government concerning the matter to be discussed at the conference. '
