 ' The draft of a memorial to be presented to H.M. Government was read and approved.

It was further directed that a fair copy of the memorial should be prepared for the President of the British Association, ana that he be asked to communicate the same to Lord Palmerston with a request that his Lordship will be so obliging as to appoint a day on which the Deputation may have the honour of an interview with him.
