Expenditure Sub-committee of the Gassiot Committee - Opinion by correspondence ' The Expenditure Sub-committee of the Gassiot Committee, consulted by correspondence in January 1952, agreed to recommend that; (i) a grant of £200 from the Air Ministry Grant-in-Aid be made to Professor F E Simon in connexion with his research on sampling the upper atmosphere.
