Minutes of a meeting of the "Challenger" Publication Committee Present at the meeting: Professor Huxley in the chair; Mr Brady; Professor M Foster, Secretary; Sir J D Hooker; the Treasurer In attendance: Mr Murray Minutes of last meeting read, and Minute of Council of 15 December appointing the Committee was read. Mr Murray presented his Report and Estimates, which after discussion, it was resolved that Mr Murray to produce a Supplementary Report explaining the reasons for the present estimate being larger thant he Committee had anticipated Secretary to forward the Report and Estimates to the Treasury with a letter dated 23 December 1887, concerning the estimates.
