 ' Several Gentlemen formerly proposed were named by the President for the Approbation of the Council in order to be chosen Members by the Society; viz.:  The Duke D'Aummont,  Mr Colson Teacher of the Mathematicks in the Mathematic School at Rochester,   and Mr Daniel Erenestus Giblanski Vice- President of the Society founded at Berlin by his late Prussian Majesty, who were severally Ballotted for and approved of to be proposed in Order to Election.
