Peter Davall Esq Vice President reported on the audit carried out on the Society's accounts [Listed in detail] including His late Majesty's gift to the Society for the expenses of the approaching Transit of Venus of £759 - 6 - 0d of which he had paid £339, balance remaining £420 - 0 - 6d.

Samuel Mead Esq confirmed the actions of Mr Cowley the Collector of the Customs at Portsmouth regarding Mr Mason and Mr Dixon and the expenditure which totalled £43 - 13 - 0 [Listed in detail] and it was ordered by ballot that this be paid by Mr Davall

Ordered Transactions volumes he needed be given to Earl of Hardwicke</dc:description>
