Minutes of meeting of 25 June 1761 read

Report by Mr Short from the Commissioners of the Londitude on arrangements for testing Mr Harrison's time pieces; Captain John Cambell to make the observstions on voyage and in Jamaica; and a double set of 'Singular Instruments' provided , namely two equal altitude instruments, two reflecting telescopes of two feet  focus, and two good astronomical clocks.

Discussed a letter form Mr Ellis FRS concening specimens of Corallinos required from Dr Baster  for verifing the account in Baster's recent paper; Council declined to become involved.

Dr Watson reported thanks received from Trustees of the British Museum regarding the volumes of Transactions sent to them

Ordered a quarto copy of the Statutes of the Society be presented to the British Museum</dc:description>
