The Society's Seal put to the Letter of Attorney, to enable James West Esq Treasurer to sell out £400 BankAnnuities

Read applications and interviewed candidates to succeed the late Mr Francis Hauksbee in the service of the Society;

Dr Morton had gathered together information on all the duties of the various offices of Librarian, Keeper of the Repository, Clerk, Housekeeper. Mace Bearer and Porter from the Minutes, and it was resolved that they were to be transcribed and put together. Council to meet on 1 February 1763 to determine the duties of the person elected to succeed the late Mr Francis Houksbee

Some deeds relating to the Acton estate were borrowed by Samuel Wegg, for which he gave a receipt lodged in the chest until the deeds were returned.</dc:description>
