Among matters discussed or noted: minutes of the last meeting read and approved. Letter from Purnell B. Purnell of Stancombe Park, Dursley, requesting to make a copy of the portrait of Isaac Newton, now in the Council Room, agreed. Bill for payment, for lithography. Proposals for the award of Royal Society Medals were discussed.  </dc:description>
