	The rest of the volume (March 1914 to August 1915) describes attempts to measure air-earth current (test-plate and portable gold-leaf electrometer), tests on a capillary electrometer, observations on effects of lightning on the electric field, using a gold-leaf electrometer, discussion of various design problems and tests of gas voltammeter for measuring small charges and finally, July-August 1915, successful observations of electric field and air-earth current using a capillary electrometer (these were visual observations).</dc:description>
