<dc:title>Third Charter of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>This Charter is mainly concerned with the grant of Chelsea College and the neighbouring lands to the Royal Society, but it also includes some additional authorizations.
The President is empowered to appoint two or more Deputies out of the Council who may act for him in his absence instead of the one mentioned in the Second Charter.
The President, Council and Fellows may hold assemblies and meetings in any convenient place within the Realm of England.
Powers that by former Charters could only be exercised by the President and Council, or seven or more of them, may now be exercised by any five of them.</dc:description>
