Translation of a letter, from Andreas Celsius to Cromwell Mortimer, dated at Uppsala Celsius states that he sends his comments on Cassini's deduction of the figure of the earth, and that he has found some English coins with runic inscriptions, asking if there was a King of England called Othin. The original letter, which now no longer exists, was in French and dated 14 March 1738 1738
