<dc:title>Letter from E J H Corner, c/o Department of Agriculture, Jesselton, Malaysia to George Hemmen, Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Reports terrible wind, resulting in a big tree falling 50 yards from the tents. Mentions they were fortunate to have cut two trees down before that evening. Experimented with cine-camera. Goes on to explain the night of the tree-falling in more detail, no damage done, but botanical specimens. Thinks Smart is settling in, but is not too happy commenting that perhaps they are too rough a crowd and thinks the Solomons [expedition] wil be tougher. Accounts not yet arrived.</dc:description>
