Letter from John Smart, Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge to Royal Society The letter is not addressed to a named recipient, but the stamps and notes on the letter make it clear that both G E Hemmen and the Executive Secretary [D C Martin] had seen the letter. The letter refers to an application for a travel grant and includes an apology for not mention the Royal Society grant which went towards illustrations for a paper by Smart. Originally reprints of the paper were enclosed and it is likely that this paper related to Smart's findings in North Borneo. June 1969
