C B Ferry, Department of Pharmacology, University of Newcastle to Brown Saw in the paper that Brown and Lady Brown were at a memorial service for Sybil Creed - did not know that she had died and was sorry to read about it - hopes that Brown is getting back to full health - wrote to Leeds saying he was interested but giving estimate for equipment required - did not get a favourable response and has had nothing in response to his reply, they do not seem to want to expand the Department. 18 March 1970
