Letter from Hermann L Blumgart, Boston, Massachusetts to Howard Walter Florey Reproductions of some of Leonardo da Vinci's sketches indicate that some intercommunicating vessels were portrayed on the surface of the heart - wrote to curator at Windsor Castle, who sent photostat of the sketches - gives references to these - one sketch seemed to indicate intercommunicating vessels. 3 April 1957
