Letter from Howard Walter Florey to Mr Keep, Controller of Penicillin Production, Ministry of Supply, London Dr Chain has spoken to Borodin and found out that Borodin wants to learn about manufacture of penicillin and will go back to Soviet Union to set up factories - comments on this - Borodin would particularly like to visit the deep fermentation plant at Speke - if suitable arrangements cannot be made, Borodin should be told as soon as possible - Borodin has been wondering if he should go to USA - Borodin is working on general methods of investigation of antibiotics. 3 December 1945
