Letter from John Herschel, Karinja, to [Mary Cornwallis Herschel] He is just in at 8.00am after a fifteen mile gallop, finding a large bag of letters on his return. The post goes immediately and therefore he says hello, noting her three letters which he has not yet read. He has a report from Mr Torrens who has selected three points besides Badjaon which will take Herschel to the 20th at least. 4 April 1872
