<dc:title>Letter from John Herschel, to [Mary Cornwallis Herschel] </dc:title>
<dc:description>He has only time for a few lines, he is sending to Kurnool for money. Her cheerful letter of 2 January came as an antidote to the digust he felt that there was no order for money. He has telegraphed, appealed, and done all he can. He will go to Kurnool in person if necessary. He hopes she has received the sketches. He does not recall taking money from her, only the 25 shillings he gave. He notes the times for postal delivery and says that this is an interim scrawl, while a letter is being copied. </dc:description>
