Letter from Alexr [Alexander] Stewart, Dingwall, to Mrs Calder ['dear Sister-Aunt'] Emilia has given birth to a son and Alexander gives an account of mother and child. Their parent Mrs. Calder came to stay, but her health is broken. Emilia also complains of bodily weakness. He sympathises with his correspondent's secluded state and family trials.
