  <dc:description>An account of their journey to Inverness, with Emilia complaining of back and knee pains from carrying her child. They received kindnes in Inverness, where they spent time shopping and making calls. They sent Charles, Katherine and Sandy back to Urquhart on Friday. They sent a day of study at Mr. Shaw's of Holm. He preached at Inverness town church, and in Mr. B's chapel. Thursday is fixed as the day for Alexander's admission, with Donald Mackenzie admitting him. Their belongings have arrived in carts,so they may set the house in order. [28 September] Emilia writes that Alexander Stewart has now been admitted as Minister at Dingwall. Alexander gives an account of preaching and that they intend to move into the Manse. Emilia closes with news, including that 'poor James is bound for India'. </dc:description>
