Minutes of an ordinary meeting of the Royal Society Mr Boyle & Dr Henshaw asked to set downe in writing the 'severall Experiments with the small siphon of glasse. Sitr Robert Moray chosen President. The Amanuensis produced the bubbles he was ordee'd to prepare, and they succeeded as those which the King sent of this kinde; some of theirs were sent by Sir Paul Neile to His Majesty. Dr Henshaw showed his experiments for waters riseing in small pipes or siphons. A Committee appointed to go to the Glasse house at Wollwich to Enquire into the Experiment, of those solid bubbles the King sent: viz: Sir Paul Neile, My Lord Brouncker, Mr Slingsby, Mr Bruce. Sir H: Blunt, Colonell Taske, Dr Wallis, Dr Glisson - Dr Cowley, were elected into the Society. 6 March 1661
