Minutes of an ordinary meeting of the Royal Society Dr Wilkins shewed the Society severall shapes of Insects, and read a letter from Mr Willughby of their history, which is order'd to be Copied. Mr Willughby proposed as a Candidate by Dr Wilkins. Dr Wilkins read his paper for a 'Naturall Standard', and it was ordered that 6 copies be written out. Dr Goddard to make the 'Experiment of Vapours 'to turne to aire. Mr Le Febvre proposed as a Candidate by Sir Robert Moray. Mr De Servieres paper of 'Rareties' to be copied. Mr Clayton brought in his account of Varnish, and it was ordered to be registered. 20 November 1661
