Minutes of an ordinary meeting of the Royal Society Dr Wallis brought with him the young man, and made him pronounce several words. He is asked to continue his practise thereon: and thanks were returnd to him for his present produciton. Sir William Petty, Dr Goddard, Mr Rooke, Mr Boyle, and Dr Wilkins were appointed a Committee for the examining Mr Toogoods water works, and any one of the Society, who will, may have liberty to assist the Committee therein. 21 May 1662
