Communications received;
1.   Read the translation by Dr Maty of a Latin letter, addressed to Charles Morton FRS dated at Leyden 18 December 1761 and signed Johannes Luloffs 'astronomiae, matheseor, et philosophiae Professor, in academia Lugduno Batavia'containing the Professor's observations of the Transit of Venus over the Sun, on the 6th of June last, with some account of the instruments proveded and how used. 2.   Read letter addressed to the Reverend Dr Stukely FRS dated 19 July 1761 at Lyndon, and signed J Barker containing Mr Barker's observations of the Transit of Venus over the disk of the Sun. [Account given in detail]
3.   Dr Stukeley read a paper relating to the British Antiquities and Drawings which were shown at the previous meeting  [Account in detail]
4.   Read part of a paper by the Reverend Mr Foster and the rest referred to the next meeting.
5.   A digesting machine of a new configuration was exhibited to the Society by Mr Creagh, who promised 'to communicate a particular accxount of it, at some future meeting'.</dc:description>
